About me

Claudio discovered dance at 12 and quickly fell in love with contemporary technique, which became the foundation of his movement vocabulary. Over the years he broadened his horizons, training in and absorbing many styles — especially commercial and jazz — and he now weaves those influences into a distinctive, versatile choreographic voice.

Throughout Claudio's career he's had the privilege of being a dancer for new productions where he's been able to provide assistance for choreographers and directors. He has been part of inaugural casts, often serving as the very first dancer to bring a piece to life, and he has repeatedly been trusted as dance captain — most notably on the Hans Zimmer tour. Those experiences taught him how to build choreography that's resilient in performance, collaborative in rehearsal, and responsive to an ensemble.

Being a repeated dance captain taught him how to maintain artistic standards across long runs, coach understudies, and troubleshoot when things inevitably change on the road. Those responsibilities — plus his choreographic projects — sharpened his ability to deliver work that's both reliable and resonant.

Becoming choreographer for Gardaland Resort — Italy's largest theme park — as his first official choreographer role was a landmark moment: it affirmed his ability to lead creative teams, translate concepts into large-scale spectacle, and manage the logistical demands of site-specific production. Working at Gardaland pushed him to think bigger about staging, lighting, costumes and choreography that makes an incredible performance — skills he now bring to every project, from intimate theater pieces to arena-scale shows.

Claudio loves to constantly research to improve his work and continues to shape how he thinks about theatricality, precision, and emotional impact.

Claudio currently is a resident Choreographer at Gardaland and even acts as a swing for all the shows going onstage at least 3 days a week.
